Dr., thanks for the reminder. Actually some of my material settings were hosed up; the main thing being that ambient color was set to white instead of black. As soon as that was changed everything fell into place nicely, and the props displayed as I had been hoping they would. Thanks to all who offered assistance with this.

The merchant is certainly responsible for the manner in which he or she displays the product...and the administration is responsible for how they allow it to be displayed.

This is essentially correct. However, when we discover that the kid with the bat and ball doesn't have firm clear rules, we get frustrated with the game and eventually stop playing with him.
To Neomea: We always have the option to make suggestions. It's just that when it comes right down to it, the kids with the bats and balls don't need to listen.

I have in the past deliberately embedded midi files in my image descriptions, not for every image certainly, but every now and again. Nothing has ever been deleted. And comments invariably have been favorable at such times.

jb, I agree with you, certainly all those things could be done as a work-around, but the thing is they ought not to be necessary.
