As far as I know you can use 3dS files in Poser. You need to go to file then select import from the drop down menu. You will have a copuple of options to select like import to center or floor. I don't know if you would be able to edit files but you can use them like any other poser file. As always with using a format not orginally inteneded for a particular program you may find some odd little problems. Hope this helps.

You are more than welcome. Isn't it a real relief to see the thumbnails again. I think the SR4 should have come with more of an explanation or warning. I as usual skim read it and most either didnt apply to me or went over my head. Perhaps they should have entered that text in BOLD. Oh well at least we can see again. Happy Rendering. Jim

Glad to hear that you got it to work. Glad too that I brought up the issue as it seems there are at least a few more happy campers out there and I got a great tip about the size of the images.

Unfortunately, I just purchased the Tailor and probably won't have time to play/learn it for some time. My impression is that you transfer the morhps from the character in quest to the clothers you are try to make fit. I don't know what the limitations are. In any event you can read more about it at the DAZ site/store.

I don't know if this will work but it may be worth investigating if you can get clothes to fit using the Tailor Program available from DAZ.
