Yep, I had the email. But if an item is not applicable with the coupon, then that icon should not be there. An option within your software should automatically take that icon off the page for the time of the sale. Or perhaps as I mentioned, should be part of the next update.

Interesting....... If the tester did not have the correct folder...... How did it get through QAV?

When I was a vendor, you uploaded the files, it went to the tester, and even if there was something wrong in the read me it came back to you to change.

There is NO way that this should have got through testing in the format it is. Whoever did the testing needs to be replaced as they have not done the job they were given.

How could they have checked out the various materials?

How could they have checked out the options to change the length of the top and pants?

Sorry, but this is very badly done and as a tester for another site I know what does happen with real QAV, is something is wrong it is sent back with the instruction about it, not a repaired file.

I will wait for the product, but not for another 24 hours. I had intended to have a set of textures out for this and have had a load of wasted time due to a so called tester no doing their actual job.

The other thing I remember was that if the files passed, they were automatically uploaded to the store, the vendor did not have to do this as the files supplied were used. So yet again, I would have quite a long talk with the person who didn't do the correct QAV and find out what their excuse is and then get rid of them.

And in RL, you have my money and I have not got the product I paid for. You already have the files, as they are given out to your testers, so all you need do is replace the files.

I have been a vendor here in the past, so I know how it works.

About nearly 19 hours now.......... and no update as yet.

Yes, it does need an updated file, please check the runtime for the Materials section and you will see that it  totally wrong.

You already have the files as they will have had to have been put through your tester for the product to have passed the QAV, so I don't see how the wrong Materials folder could have been place in this set in the first place without it being noticed

Any chance of something happening, it's been over an hour now and not even a "we have informed the vendor" message. In fact I have informed the PA myself, but no doubt because your site mail is messed up, they haven't seen it.

For the longer dress try these and see if it helps:-

Fold Resistance: 2.00

Shear Resistance: 20.00

Stretch Resistance: 20.00

Stretch Draping: 0.0050

I don't know how many frames you are using, but it sometimes helps to run a longer sim than the usual 30 frames.

A lot of good advice has already been given, and the main one is, don't thik you are going to make a fortune overnight.

There are things I made when I was a vendor here at Renderosity that hardly sold anything, while others sold in a set amount.

So, start off thinking, I'm doing this to get a bit of income to get more items etc.

The main thing you will gain is experience, things will or won't sell. You may think you have the best thing ever and then..... You sell about 5 in 2 months and get put off. My advice for this is.... Don't get put off, just put it down to experience and go on with the next project.

You mention Roxie and P7 Kate, I'm sure there are people wanting stuff, but, that's exactly it, they want the stuff but they don't have the skills to make it. You have the skills to make products so go for it, if the market is there, you have hte monopoly on getting in first.

An example of this is John's Digital Tailor series of tutorials, there was hardly anything before John started doing them, he saw a market and went for it. It could have been a flop, but unless he went for it he would never have known. Now, how many more tutorials has he done.

The main thing is to go ahead and be a vendor, so many people wonder and wonder and never do. Unless you dip your toe you will never know. Go for it, if it doesn't go wel, all you have lost is the time you have used on the project.

A morph comes off the base mesh, the people who work with meshes have programs to work with them.

If RAM and MC4D can do it, then I'm sure others can do so.

Only the base mesh was used for the sculpting of the morphs.

I have no problems with people wanting to learn to do things for whatever character they want to use. That's human nature, to want to learn new things.

It's the ones that have been around for a while, that do have the talent and scoff that they don't like things, but never go on to produce something that they say they could do better.

I've only scratched the top of Zbrush, but I can make a few morphs for myself, nothing as good as those that think they can do better with Dawn.

So, there are things I can do and produce, but if others think they can do better than those that have come out, that challenge thread is still there.

For those that want to go ahead and make a few morphs for yourselves, there are a few tutorials out there that may help (Google is your best friend) and I commend anyone who wants to learn.
