Hi, I don't know about the suit, but a good character set is JD's Dark Phoenix at www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/?ViewProduct=62943. I hope it helps (Rendo's search engine is usually good only to find things you're NOT looking for...)
Thread: Why are you still using V4? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
@treewrx
Waiting for Erogenesis to save us all is anything but "absurd". He already did that once (and V4 herself agrees with that...).

 Hi erogenesis,
you deserved every single word. It was just my fault to wait so long before thanking you for Lali Bits.

Content Advisory! This message contains profanity
WARNING: What follows is just MY PERSONAL OPINION and is not intended to influence anybody else's mind.
No doubt about it: "Lali Bits" have been, by far and large, the greatest event in the history of V4 since her inception by DAZ; and, considering how much the fourth version of Victoria meant, and is still meaning,in the Poser-related universe it's been really something. What erogenesis achieved from his secret hideout in South Africa is simply stunning; this guy succeded in solving what, after years of goodwilled efforts by many other talented artists, had begun a sort of HolyGrail (no disrespect intended) of the Poserverse: how to make Vicky 4 really "whole". Whoever tried to accomplish the task - no matter if a professional or a simply not too skilled amateur like myself - knows the unbelievable amount of obstacles and difficulties he had to overcome: the combination of a (relative) low-poly count (which oddly V3 had not) and a really "nasty" joint configurations - to point-out just the most obvious of the difficulties - around V4's femininity made the quest a kind of 3D nightmare. After many years end users and content creators alike had lost all hopes and then... Lali Bits appeared like a blazing rainbow and literally gave V4 a deserved 4th dimension (let's call it that way)! Not only erogenesis addressed the question of "the elephant in the living room" (I really felt for him when he, in a really polite way, attempted to address the "4th dimension" question in a thread about a new female figure for Poser, some time ago, and received a lot of harsh replies here on Rendo Forum...), but he did so in such an elegant and brilliant manner that - in my opinion, again - everyone in the Poserverse should be thankful. It opened an entire new universe of possibilities for V4, and in the end that's the most important thing: it doesn't restricts only to nude/erotic playfulness (actually that's a big part of being "human"; still you have every right to consider it forbidden, sinful, distasteful, etc. or simply not feeling at ease with representations of such anatomy/activity): the V4 in your runtime could even never appear undressed or indulge in intimacy, she should all the same be gifted of Lali bits, just for the possibilities it represents. It's really a big difference between not doing something because you're "materially" unabled to do it and not doing something because you choose not to do it, but still having the chance to do it... Just if.. Hypothetical possibility fosters imagination and imagination is still one of the best ways - as odd as it at first could appear - to copy with reality, especially when it's an hard one. Virtuality as well is a more positive concept than it's generally considered. But it looks like I went ahead of myself and, after all, everything I wanted to do was to give the deserved praise to the guy who succeded to expand and enrich the - sometimes too narrowminded - Poser related Universe. And, of course, I can't wait to see what an unbelievable mega-sensation the fabled "Project E" will be!! Considering all the fuss actually going on about V7 (maybe I'm just a naive simpleton, but I can't believe people is bloodily fighting about wich 3D program is better than the other...) everybody can cool down: already Lalified V4 had easily the upper hand on G1 & G2 females; Project E will be miles further up (like a "V10" or something, if you're in the "mine is bigger than yours" sort of things).
Thread: seam lines appearing on v4 map | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It looks like I finally found the "trick" to avoid the problem. PP2012 in the rendering settings comes out with a "Min shading rate" of 0.95; putting that value to 0 is all that's needed to avoid having seam lines in rendering. It's a problem occurring only on a small amount of V4 maps, so it's not very likely to trouble a lot of people, but, to my knowledge, it's easily corrected just putting the Min shading rate cursor to 0. I hope someone can find it useful.

Thank You for answering Bill !!
Anyway it looks like the problem just disappeared, and the only thing I modified was the "Preview texture resolution" from 512 to 4096. Odd thing is the seamlines are still there in preview but fortunately disappear when rendering... I'm a bit puzzled but as long as it works...

Thread: Silly question about DisplacementMaps | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Wow, boys!!!!
I'm simply overwhelmed by the number, the speed and the quality of everyone's replies... Yeah, I have to say it again: I'm really speechless!!! Thanks a lot to everyone! Now I'll take my time to read thoroughly (and understand them...) every sigle reply, but the first glimpse is sufficient to make me sure you gave me all the informations I needed ( and even a lot more...). If I don't understand this time how displacement-maps really work ...it's mandatory I start looking for some brain-upgrade kit.
Thanks to everyone,

Thread: The perfect poser machine? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The "Perfect Poser Machine",uh?! The answer is quite simple, it doesn't exist nor will ever exist... Trying to be more constructive I can tell You what I've got and what it's capable of with Poser. Processor is Intel P4 S478 UP 3.00 GHz, DDR RAM is 2 GB and Video Card is a Creative 3DB FX5200. First of all remember that,no matter what someone's still saying, Poser (4, PP and 5) has no use for the PC's video card - it's at least odd for a graphic-oriented program, but so it is - hence no need for that ultra-sophisticated stuff in very colourful boxes (unless You're into games...), there is NO WAY that could help Poser to work or speeding it up. I'd suggest You to go for the processor (more power and more speed You can get...) and, even more important, for large amounts of RAM memory (I'd say the most important factor in preventing the too frequent Poser's crash/freezings, and in allowing to render complex scenes). Whit the above configuration the most complex scenes I manage to render in acceptable times are composed by .pz3 files of about 150/200 MB,with 5 Mill figures undressed/scantly dressed or 3 Mill figures fully dressed, High res (up to 4000 x 4000) maps, and a lot of high/good resolution props. With shadows turned "off" these scenes render in about 40-60 seconds, that increase dramatically with shadows "on". Speaking of Poser, nothing grants You that what succeded happily on,say, Monday, will do the same on,say, Thursday. But that's the real Poser trademark: whatever you'll do to fix it or prevent it from crashing it will EVER manage to find something new to get stuck in the middle of your best ever render!!! A last word about P5...I read a lot of posts saying it's way better than P4 and definitely worth the upgrade...My experience goes definitely to the opposite: whatever the improvements are P5 is terribly slower than P4PP in everything, 20 to 30 times slower in rendering actually, not to speak of posing characters and other amenities... Hope it helped, and good luck... Alberto
Thread: Can someone who uses Wyrmmaster's stand-alone deformers PLEASE help me? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I had exactly the same problem (clothes a bit "oversized") and when I was going to desperate it seemed I stumbled in the solution. When You apply the magnets (either to the figure or to the clothes) be sure to first SELECT them, without relying in what the display drop-down menu says. Even if it says that - as usually after You have loaded a cloth or figure - the cloth is selected (i.e. "thong" and body part "hip"), don't trust it (Never trust in Poser!...), but CLICK ON IT (the cloth, I mean) to be really sure that it's selected and only then conform the magnets. This way poor Tammy (and her oversized companions as well) will have clothes that fit perfectly her gorgeous shape. I hope that helps. Alberto

Dear Khrys, 1)In the country I'm from You - and not you - is an epistular form of courtesy. 2)Who said "Thread's dead. LET IT DIE". I counted nine replies from Khrys since... 3)"If someone came into a public school and shoved her breasts at a kid, I'd call the cops and then take the kid to a therapist. If some woman was walking down the street and shoved her nude breasts at me? I'd call the cops and probably ask her what she was on." You really like cops, don't You (again). That's nothing wrong with that, but taking a kid to a therapist because a woman showed her breasts to him...I really don't know, in the ancient country I live in women shows their breasts to children in order to feed them. I already said: kids never get things wrong...unless someone teaches that them. 4)Maybe it's (was) against Renderosity TOS (whatever that means), but I always like playing than getting too serious (kids teach me that everyday). 5)Again, I apologize for my bad English. Oooohh...WOW!! Thanks God I'd say (no intention to be or sound blasphemous, but, please, calm down...) I had almost lost any hope:I were really afraid that the so-called "sexual revolution" back in the 60s-70s and the so-called illuminated all-rational evolution of the third millennium man had eventually succeded in banishing from our holy (literally, this time)world everything that makes life worth living. No game, just work; no magic, just reason; and, no sex, just mature, responsible and consentient interpersonal activity finalized either to the reproduction of the species (at its best)or a momentary release of physical pleasure. I'm not mocking anyone:Khrys and all the other ladies and gentlemen, no matter if You agree each other or not, You're all perfectly right!!! You know (till now actually not, but so it's used to say), I'm a fricking shrink and each and every day I have to fight against the blindness of so-called colleagues that aren't able to see anything else than neurotransmitters impared balance, narcisistic pathology and, of course, borderline personality disorders!!... I can relieve only speaking with the so-called patients, persons whose only problem often is a blessed deep sensitivity and spirituality that allows them to get and keep in touch with their most deep and true emotions. What the hell, life IS emotions!!! In the (again) so-called ancient and dark - nothing can be so cozy as darkness - ages the nowadays psychiatrists were called "sorcerers", "shamans", but now "sorcerer" (actually "stregone") is what they call me when they're offended by me saying something that You can't read on a blood-analysis sheet. Enough with my personal troubles. What I really intended to say is that sex really matters, always did and always will, and that's simply marvelous to me reading all the reactions and counter-reactions that a pair of squeezed breasts ignited in a hypertechnologic and supermodern community like it should supposed to be that of Poser's users. You (me too in the number)should be supposed to think of them just in terms of polygons, vertices, texturing, IK chains and so on. But thanks God (Whatever You call Him or Her, either You believe in Her or Him or not)it seems that we're all still women and men and that our souls (or psyches, if You prefere) can still be touched and put in turmoil by the basic emotions and feelings of everyday life. I have no intention to judge who's right and who's not, if it's art or pornography,if it's suitable for children or not (by the way they're the smart ones, not the grown-up, so I wouldn't bother too much...). Important thing is all of you were touched by the infinite power of the essence of sex and could not bystand indifferent to the everlasting secret of the woman's body (even through a supposedly cold representation as it should be a computerized image). Sure, it can disturb You, it can arouse You, it can disgust You, You can love it or hate it, but, remember, the only indifferent human being is a dead one... OK, thanks for your patience and bye! Alberto
Thread: Who Says Guys Don't Play with Barbie Dolls??!?!? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
That's exactly it!!! Guys ever wanted to play with dolls and really hated those damn little soldiers and stupid little cars!!! They were told to do that (by the way, who mocked you did it only out of envy), but now they're grown up and, at last, they can have real fun. I'm not going too deep into this fact. I just wanted You to know I was thinking about writing an article with the same title of your post, and I was really pleased to find it in the forum. By the way, I'm what You, Yankees, could call a "shrink", but a shrink who likes to play with dolls in Poser (during his spare-time, of course). Before I'm struck off the psychiatrists's roll, Merry Christmas!! Alberto
