Has anyone got any of the matmatic scripts that were on runtimedna as it doesn't look like were going to get any of the files posted up there now. Especially the weave stuff.
cheers

Loom Script
Plaids Using the Loom
Making your own weave patterns
Downloading weave patterns
oh and I think its called paramatic
as runtimedna forum links have become non-esistant/broken ever since they updated the site. There was loads of useful stuff on there and its all disappeared. Just got matmatic working on my mac - wonderful stuff by bagginsbill. Want to have a look at some more example scripts etc but we seem to have lost a huge resource especially when it comes to poser materials.
any help gratefully received.

cheers for that - think it also may be because of shadows falling on face and eyes - tried adding a bit of glow and that seemed to do the trick.

If only people with closed minds could have closed mouths.
it's 'metaphoric' . It's a famous quote - can't remember off the top of my head who said it - someone out there may know. I think it can be true sometimes that those who have a narrow view point are often the most vocal. I just think its worrying when a few can dictate what the many can or can't say or do or even feel. Everyone is entitled to a view point. Its the imposing of judgement that I get uncomfortable about.
Yes you need to have laws and hopefully a society can form sensible laws and rules. It's when people forceably impose there moral view point, often with a false sence of justice, that I begin to worry.

Well I don't agree with child porn but I think the problem is western culture is becoming more and more closed minded. The more you hide, push under and force underground the more you are likely to create more and larger problems.
Personally I feel free speech and the USA are two things that are mutually exclusive. From what I can tell the US especially the government like to subvert and opress free speech. It's starting to get that way here in the UK as well.
I review manga and anime for a science fiction and fantasy website and to be honest I think the japanese on the whole have a lot healthier approach to sex in general than here in the west.
I can't get my head round the whole thing of beauty pageants - dressing up small girls to look like adults just doesn't sit right with me but if thats what people or rather parents want to do then thats up to them. I think there are things like this in the mainstream that I think are as equally dodgy.
I'll shut up now cause I'll problably go to far if I carry on. I've probably upset a few people and I'm sorry if anything I've said offends anyone. I just can't abide closed minded thinking.Â
Thread: [OT] If you think Firefox will protect you from popup/under infection.... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think the problem lies in websites and less to do with what browser you use. Noscript is fantastic - have a browse through the firefox extensions there are loads of useful ones. Even mainstream legit sites have been hacked recently so its always good to air on the side of caution. Life is easier on other systems (than that of windows because thats the most heavily targeted). Having used both Macs and windows ( I can duel boot). Windows is scary because you seem to have less control over what happens to your operating system. I'm running AVG, spybot and spyware doctor and still found ClamX on my mac partition found virueses that the other pc apps didin't which worried me some what.
I think you've just got to use what ever you can. IE does seem to be targeted as well - general dislike of microsoft in the hacking community - I've known a few in my time!
Just make sure you keep everything upto date and keep an eye out of forums etc for potential problems. No point bashing other systems - help others - if you hear of a potential problem pass it on to your fellow pc users - the advice that is not the problem!

I'm not sure what I'm looking for but there may be something on the mac developer site
http://developer.apple.com/
I know you can use xcode and quartz to wrap python scripts into apps. Not sure if there's much in the way of documatation with the developer stuff that comes with the mac os install discs. think you can also combine python with automator scripts.
I'll try and keep searching for you. I've done a few automator scripts in the past but not really played with xcode or python

New versions are released to improve functionality and security. The vast majority of extensions are developed by third parties. If you want em updated get onto the developers. The changes to upgrade them isn't that great (mostly).
Liking the new version most of the extensions I use work - just the odd ones don't.

To be honest I use photoshop 'elephants' :o) at home and PS CS3 at work. PS elements is easier to get to grips with and had most of the features you'll probably want or need. The other is its a lot cheaper. You could always upgrade at a later date if you feel you need the extra bells and whistles.
