very nice! I wish there was more period stuff out there...especially Edwardian. So whenever I see your stuff, I get all happy. Thanks!

Actually, they do convert 3DS files, but not .dxf files. Or, at least, I have been converting PC .3DS files on my copy of Maconverter.
Thread: Free stuff: which is better- downloading a file or going to website | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
no...it actually downloads an IE page full of code, always entitled, "EZ Download", no zip at all. I've tried a million things...and while there's prolly a way to fix this weird thing, I have yet to find it.

I prefer a link because IE refuses to download the freestuff for me. ...I just get a downloaded EZ file, and have to download from netscape, which runs really slow on my computer. So it's nice not to have to open up a diff. browser.

I have to agree with Eowyn, the Postwork is the most enjoyable part for me. Prolly because I am an illustration major who became interested in webdesign, who became interested in photomanipulation/texturing a year or so ago, who became interested in Poser a month ago. Whew. So for me, I'm doing the texturing the way I know best how to. Kinda random, I wonder if the ratio of heavy Postworkers to non-heavy has anything to do with how one started out? I wonder if Poser was one's first, if then one tries to get as close as possible to a finished piece in it...and if, say, Photoshop was one's first, one tends to use Poser to "set up" a piece for rendering in that program.

Hmmm....I didn't want him for Prez, I wouldn't want him near the denizens of my happy little poser town. Of course, I could render out countless images of him in unhappy situations...(perk) He's coming along....though like Fishnose said, he's looking a bit too young. Good work so far.

I definately like it-the odder the better, for me. It'd be cool to have different colors for the front streak, too.

well, it reminds me of how all the arty chicks out here are cutting their hair that define themselves as "Emo"...so...."Emo Chic"...lol, I don't know.....

Hats. I want cool hats. If RDNA released a large set of crazy hats like the 2 free ones they offered for download, I'd snatch it up in a 'mo. A hooded sweatshirt. Cause, well, who doesn't wear 'em? My Poser girls get tired of garters and temple garb. A looong cigarette holder with cig. For those Deco days. That's all I can think of right now. Oh...Patricia...best bet is simply to take your rendered image into whatever photoshop-like prog. you have and paste the texture over the image, then "multiply" it. Works every time. :)

Ahhh...good points...didn't stop to think about having the eyes and eyebrows exactly the same being something to consider. Ditto on the focal length and the lips. Is this considered violent? LOL...does the eye makeup look like blood? Another thing I didn't think about. It's actually butterfly wings. Great advice.....thanks again!
