Yes... Click your model, and then go up to Display ---> Scroll down to Figure Style ---> Click Wireframe. This should show your model as a wireframe, but the ground plane as textured. Make sure that you have the texture view on. You can do that by clicking the last little ball at the bottom of the screen in poser.
Thread: adding bones to my model... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I probably have a little unorthodox way of rigging my figures. I use Poser 5 also. But I used to use propack for the longest time.
Anyhow, I load my figure in and then start adding the bones so that it matches up to the figure. (Little things like teddy bears and mech-stuff don't need many bones and don't need to use a walk designer...) Although, a shortcut for you might be to go in to the setup room, and then pick the character in your library that would be the most similiar and then double click that character. The bones will be loaded in to the scene. Now, I usually move the skeleton around to get it overlaid on my figure and then move, bend, etc the bones so that they are as close as possible. Then I go to the grouper tool up there in the setup room and click auto group. It's never gotten it 100% for me, but it's come close. So, then it's just a matter of checking the groups and adjusting anything that might need to be adjusted. Then after that you can go back to the posing room and see how everything moves.
I learned all that from a tutorial a long time ago. (I think it was for ProPack... The tutorial.) But it's been a method I've used for a long time, but then again... What works for some doesn't always work for all. LOL!
Good luck with your model all the same. (It's pretty wicked looking!)
Thread: Character Freebies: Legal Concern | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think it's all about companies finding the sites. Disney probably finds more then most because they might possibly have people doing random searches and what not. I know of a site that had lion-king fan art that got themselves a cease and disist order. :( But his other site that had Marvel fan-works hasn't gotten one.
Thread: Anyone know where... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks. No, I haven't been able to find his website. Wish he had his e-mail up there, but I guess if he did then the requests would come pouring in! I'm going to put my request in now.

Is that who made them? (Like I said I downloaded them a long time ago... Had to have been over a year ago.) Is the site offline or totally gone? Sad that he didn't upload them here also.

Thanks. I appreciate that. Have you seen the new trailer for the CGI movie? It's awesome!! (A little slice of my childhood there. LMAO!)
Thread: Anyone know where... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It was a freebie so I didn't think there would be a problem with sharing it since it might not even be avaliable for download anymore. :( I've searched everywhere and still can't find him. A link would be preferable but if he's not up anymore. :(
Thread: Does anyone know if this model is still around for purchase? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi all. Thanks for all the help. I e-mailed DAZ but didn't get much help in that way. So, I just went ahead and bought him again. This way if I lose him the order history is still there. (And they're really fast at resetting! I had david and his head and body morphs and they reset the links within a minute.) Cheers to that. Although, I have the Mil dragon I'll always love the Zygote dragon. (Dunno why. I guess it's because he's not a memory hog like the Mil one.)
Thanks again everyone!!

Thread: A question about morphs and model cutting to make an open mouth... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks. (I'll have to keep that in mind.) LOL! Is it possible to cut polys without cutting the faces all to heck? I've tried slicing in to it a couple times but I get really jagged ugly cuts. :( Thanks for the info, though. Now, I know that it would be easier to make an open mouthed character then a closed mouth one. :) -Dawn

Thread: Fur thoughts? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I was asking about his full body fursuit, but the whole figure is avaliable in freestuff? -Runs off to search- Thanks!!
Thread: Fur thoughts? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the link. I see how you do that now! :) Thanks so much... But how would you get the cylinders to stay on the cat and stay spaced the same distance when it's posed? Would you have to make a totally new OBJ for the figure? (Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my questions personally!! I've admired your furry model work for a while now, and love Furrette 2.0!) She's so cute!! I also did a search and found your work on wolfgang (Any thoughts on releasing him when he's finished?). (That's what got me thinking that the fur on the poser cat could be done, but it would probably take a long time to get it right.) But then again... I love working on this and I have some time off work for the holiday. So, I've been playing with Poser this weekend.
