I'd like to make this upgrade from P7 to P8.. and also (finally) move to Mac. My problem is that all my bought/downloaded Poser props and addons are for PC. Could I just move the runtime folder from the P7 (PC) installation to the new P8(Mac) installation ?

Thanks all of you for your information, I'll make a few tests and see what I come out with. Luckily it's a one time shot, so I don't have to run into this for many times :)

I have tried that but ended up with a mess due to the lack of a template to follow.
Painting over the skin is not as precise as I would like to.
I'd like to join Thefixer rant about the lack of item for the default poser people...
Anyway, thank all for the tips, I'll see what I can do (probably going to get the Ultra Catsuit from Daz...)

I'm trying to paint over the default body texture but I don't have a template.
Tried to make one with uvmapper but it comes out weird, like all the lines are on top of each other.. will keep trying in Photoshop ;)

Now, I just can't remember if DXF can be imported into Poser..

Sorry to hear this, I love cats, even if I am allergic to them, lost my first one when I was 20, while away from home. After 18 years I still feel the loss but also have thousands of wonderful memories..

OK, so the .pz3 file contains "scene information" like which figure from my runtime is used, where is located in the scene, which pose it has, which texture from my runtime it has, etc...

But is there a way of saving a file that has inside all the props and texture and figure (..etc) that I set in a scene ? Maybe this CollectSceneInventory.py works this way?

regarding my recent hd crash... I had the .pz3 but when I tried to open them, Poser wasn't happy and asked me to locate some obj ... so I'm not sure that the pz3 does the same thing.. but I might be wrong...

uhm.. as a newbie, I would use some filter in Photoshop on the body and clothing textures.. the built-in filter called "Plastic wrap" could be interesting in that respect.. just my 2 cents..

The fault was mine, I wasn't clear.

I mean that inside my "C:Program FilesCurious LabsPoser 6Runtimelibraries" I could create new folders (working on a comic now) like:

C:Program FilesCurious LabsPoser 6RuntimelibrariesCharacterComics and inside here do what I want..

I don't plan in renaming existing folders.. :)
