I sent an email to Volt several days ago, inquiring about V4/A4 characters in general and as of yet haven't heard anything.
Thread: Ruru - V4 Character Morph from Japan | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'd like to use that character myself. Sadly, Volt's website is no help and, the site you got that image from only has the add-ons and not the character required for them. Sometimes being interested in Japanese freebies can be extremely frustrating. Ah well, what can you do except try and stay on top of these things?
All we can do is hope Volt responds to Doggod's email or the one I sent off last night, though I'm guessing we didn't ask the same exact question.

Sorry to say but, there are no V4 or A4 characters on that page. The further down you go, the older you go. Starts with A3 & V3, at the bottom is V2/Stephanie 1 characters.

Digging around it appears that she is a participation prize for a contest on forum3d.net - I don't know that she'll be made available any other way. I'm using google to translate and it's not so hot.
You can find the contest thread below;
www.forum3d.net/bbs/index.php
It's not translated, so use the translator of your choice.
BTW, the contest was from March 2008.

PoserClub.jp seems to have restored a good amount of their previously available freestuff. Great news for folks like me who've never seen some of this stuff before.

Mamomamo has two new items up
A short coat set for A3 and a sweater for the Mayadoll Boy.
Happy Thanksgiving folks.
edit: It seems Poserclub.jp also has a couple new things up - can't be 100% sure but it sure looks like it.
Thread: Confused about the freestuff issue | Forum: Freestuff
Sorry for taking so long to respond Bobby, I wasn't watching the thread.
ย ย I was referring to those who "took their toys and went home", I'm aware that no policy changes forced anyone to do anything to older items. I'm sorry for not making that clear.
Thread: Confused about the freestuff issue | Forum: Freestuff
Renderosity is more akin to a mall with all those freebie sites being connected to the "hub". Originally, on-site hosting was done but ultimately deemed to expensive so they stop. The freestuff section became links, the only caveat being don't require another registration. That slowly stopped. And that's how it was until the policy changed again.
Freebie providers do use their freebies posted as links in the freestuff section to draw visitors to their sites, maybe they have a community you'd be interested in joining or a store seperate from Rendo (free of some of Rendo's rules, key one being(to me) older slower selling products don't get yanked. This is not new, it's been this way for years. Everyone has benefited, Rendo gets folks in the marketplace, people get exposed to websites they may never have found.
Originally, this was a community with a marketplace. Slowly that's become reversed, now we have a marketplace with some semblance of a community.
Folks aren't fighting over the "gold", the problem is the assay office now seems to think the own the mines - when they don't.
Rendo was getting blamed for something they really had no control over, instead of saying "take it for what it is and, use at your own risk" - they decided to control the freestuff they same way they do the MP. For your average visitor, that's probably a good thing. For the folks providing stuff, they don't like being told "okay, you can give away your gum but it has to be on my counter and, I'm going to use it however I see fit ". Some people object to have their freebies sell other people's products, some don't want their freestuff on the same page as something for sale.
This situation cost us, the community, some fantastic freebies because there seems to be an unwillingness toย compromise. Some of that stuff is still available, some gone unless the creator decides to release it again. This is the biggest disappointment of the whole thing, so many great things and people gone from here. The majority of us(I believe) would be nowhere without the artists who create the content we use to create our images.
The "Use the forum" line doesn't really hold a lot of water, I'd be surprised if 20% of the members here ever even entered the forums on purpose. But, I guarantee 95% click on the free stuff button.
If I'm wrong on any of this, anyone obviously more knowing than me - please correct me. The is just the way I see it.
Allow me to add this for clarity's sake: While I amย on the side of the content providers, I don't blame Rendo for the policy change - it's an understandable situation. I do blame Rendo for (seemingly) not wanting to work something out with the freebie providers so that everyone can be happy.

I wondering if you nice folks can help me again. I'm looking for Terai Yuki stuff, mainly poses but anything will do. I've grabbed everything I can find, so I'm hoping for some hidden treasure trove out there someplace.

I have a couple older links I thought I'd share
Lab108 - Great looking props and a ton of them ranging from Modern to Historical
lab108.x0.com/lab108/
I'm don't know the name of the artist but, they're offering a beta version of a nice looking figure called f170, she's a beta.
naoki-s.seesaa.net/article/106600225.html
I don't know if these are common or not but, I'm sure there are people who've never seen them before.

( uses Poser PMD files )
These. I wish I'd checked this thread out back then. I've searched every place I can find through the links here and the links on those sites and found nothing like them. Shame really.
Thread: more Japanese freebies | Forum: Freestuff
Could someone point me to more characters for Mayadoll/Animedoll like those two T-Limited ones I missed? I'm looking for something of that apparent quality - I can't seem to find anything like that. Free is preferred.ย Thanks.
Thread: more Japanese freebies | Forum: Freestuff
Thanks for all the links! A lot of these items are fantastic. If you can, keep the links coming.
Thread: Dedicated Terai Yuki thread | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks. Unfortunately(well not really but I think you know what I mean), I cleaned sione out a long time ago. I've checked everyplace I can find(including a very cool Japanese freebie thread in the Freestuff forum).
I'm trying to find free poses more than clothes, I've searched all the obvious places. I'm hoping someone has chanced across some in their travels.
Oh and, I figured out how to join poserclub after I posted - I just forgot to edit that bit out, sorry. I was disappointed with what I found. I could swear when I couldn't get in they had a massive amount of stuff.
