You could do it in photoshop, just adjust the saturation and color, and you could easily make this fade into the normal grass.
Thread: Import Xfrog into Vue | Forum: Vue
I was able to import an xfrog tree and fix the transparency issue, however, I'm having trouble using xfrog tree in an ecosystem. How can I fix the transparency issues in the ecosystem? Anyone else have this problem?

I know of x-frog, I guess I was just curious if I could find the conifer that is supposed to come with vue.

unfotunately I was unable to find this tutorial. Plus, half the links in the backroom are dead. Thanks for the reply, though.

Alright, back again. The trial version I have doesn't come with a conifer, and at Cornucopia3D it says I have to have that tree for those ones to work, so I can't purchase those, even though they look exactly like what I'm looking for. Is there anywhere I can find that tree, even if it's just in object form? Or do I have to wait until I can afford the full version? I've tried the other solutions you guys have provided for me (thanks again), but it looks like the conifer that comes with Vue is the one I'm looking for.
Thread: imported mesh changing in vue | Forum: Vue
I had mirrored the mesh in max before I exported it. I exported it as a .3ds file. It's okay now, I had to rebuild the mesh anyway and I didn't have a problem with the new one. Thanks for the replies.

Okay, it seems that the mesh has mirrored horizontally. Is there any way to mirror in vue?

Hey everyone thanks for the responses. I've checked out the trees at cornucopia3d.com and those look really good, probably my best bet. Thanks again for the input.
