THX! Actually reading your post (already forgot I asked :-) would have cut down the experimenting time. In the meantime I think that plugging in X into a node preset to Y always gives X*Y. But that needs moar experimenting :-)

In a twist of irony, the standard fantasy dwarf looks, proportion-wise, much more like my putative giant :-) (Reverse-elfing seems to be the better option...)

Ha, n00bious me! I didn't even know the Freak had a female counterpart :-)
(But yes, still looks a bit thinnish :-)

THX for the tip, I DLed the Wardrobe Wizard Demo to check how it works.
(I should add that my computer AND my Poser copy sucketh bigtime - I
always suspected a scratch on the CD, maybe it's also a faulty RAM -
and after I once needed half an hour to just load V4 I concluded
Posette is good enough for my pics :-) Ah well, I hope this Xmas
everything flies out of the window!)

Yes, that was what I wanted to be sure of. (I used "/$category" to mean all of
/props, /characters etc. which might have been confusing for people
who don't program in pseudocode :-), of course I don't rename those.)
THX, Hauke

Here you see my final scene (not great art, but approximately how
I wanted it to come out). I moved the spot to double height and
directly over Vampi and faked around with the spot prop. Of course,
this spot can't show these lighting effects, but after all,
you'll never know what lights are outside the visible scene :-)

a) The spot prop blocks the light. Extremely unprobable since they aren't
even at the same place.
b) My 128+512 Mb DDR Ram aren't sufficient for anything more complicated
since even in normal use Poser 6 is a memory hog.
c) The installation is damaged
d) None of the above?
Heeeelp! Or I have to render the Big Vampi&Pendragon Magic Show
with a point light. That still works.

Quote - Of course I DLed it immediately (anyone wanting to challenge me
as No.1 Vampi fan in the world? :-) ) but I probably will continue
to use Ghastleys version as the skimpier the costume the harder
to cover all bases, eh, warts :-) )

EDIT: Stoopid me. It's a bodypaint, no prop. So it can't fall off indeed. :-)
(But I must say while the rest of the costume looks good, her white
collar (is that the right word?) looks rather flat on a model.
BTW, is there any "deformation proggie" photo->2D-skin to ease making
such bodypaints?
