I render a lot of models from downloaded obj files and never had import troubles before. look at my renders many from obj I bought online.

Gerrrrr! ok i did change the promo image on the two free stuff items and one of the thumb's but the other is fighting me. i tried to change it like i did the other.. But No. The thumb i try and upload is the correct size 300X350. and named the same as the one i want to replace (Is what i did on the other thumbnail image) glitch? so here is the replacement image i am trying to add / edit? Thank you!

Pick the surface. Thence in surfaces change diffuse to 0% or black really black 0-0-0 Thence in surfaces change specular to 100% gray like 192-192-192 Thence in surfaces set glossiness to around 75% Thence in surfaces change reflection color to gray also 192-192-192 Thence in surfaces change Ambient to 0% Thence in surfaces reflection color If there is a reflection map change it to none. Thence in surfaces set refection to about 95% This will give you a start you can play with it from there. this is not for poser or I ray Daz only

Ah maybe it needs an Alpha channel but that might not be right as jpegs don't have them. Bmp's do as does some png's maybe turn off the alpha in the surface's so I-ray won't look for one. I still might be wrong!! i just remember seeing something like this years ago fracking fog textures did something like this to me and it was the alpha at fault. regular windows paint can see and save alphas i would not think a background or dome would need a alpha...Glass etc effects do some times

Is it Alpha channel banding? i read somewhere that i ray doesn't play well with Alpha or something. just a thought if i am wrong i am wrong. i can not get my I-ray to work right either.
