Subject: P5 Hair Conversion

I like the Hair Room a lot, but rendering dynamic hair is a huge drain on my borderline system. Now the created hair objects are done with particle effects. Does anyone know how, in a modeling program, to convert those particles into a mesh?

They aren't particles. P5 doesn't have particle effects.

If I understand correctly, the hair strands are made of digons (polygons with only two vertices; lines, in other words).

I don't know if the strands can be converted to regular polygons, but the result would probably be an even bigger drain. Has anyone tried running an exported hair .obj through MASA's FurFur utility?

Actually I did, it doesn't work, too bad too. Sharen
