Yes, you can create "partial" poses that affect specific parts of the body only, but you have to edit the pose file manually, removing the body parts you don't want affected, or use a utility like MAT Pose Edit. Alternatively, you can use regular poses and try locking the body parts you don't want affected by subsequent poses (Object menu --> Lock Actor).
Oh man mountainmaster .. that little tip worked great. !!! THANKS A MILLION !!! Now I am able to get my TKD form poses done in a very much shorter time frame. I have Poser 4 and have a question about posing and saving poses. I take TaeKwonDo and am "trying" to set up P4 Michael to demonstrate the forms that we do (static and then maybe animated). My question is can I save a foot stance, then create another stance with an arm position and import the foot stance without loosing the arm position ? for example ... create a right foot forward stance and save it (called rt ft fwd stance) ... create a right arm high block and save it(called rt high block). Now I will want to do a different arm movement and "bring in" rt ft fwd stance the right foot forward stance. The reason I ask is there are several movements (high block, low block, punch .. etc) that use the same forward stance and it would be a pain to hafta position the leg/foot to the same position each time for the different movements. I guess what I am asking in non-specific terms is ... can I set up a (hand/arm) pose and import another one (foot/leg) without loosing the first (hand arm)? thanks and regards, bob I hope this is clear enough
