What happens if you just let it go when it seems to freeze up? It may just be extremely slowed down by a complex model or texture. Also, what happens if you de-assign any testures/bump maps/refl maps, etc of any affected props to "none" and then try to render. (ps, have you applied the applied the latest SvcPak updates from the CL site? I think ProPak's latest was up to SR3)
You don't mention what your OS is, but I discovered ALL my lockup problems went away when I upgraded to WinXP. Not to run down older verions, but it really made a big difference in stability for ALL my programs, including PPP. (you didn't mention if you'd installed the ProPak SR, so I'll hope you saw that suggestion above)
leather-guy, I am using windows ME and yes I have the service release installed. I have learned to start saving before renders I usually completely forget though. I tried rendering a scene prop from RDNA, cant remember off hand which one it was now but it did the same thing!!! I guess I'll just keep trying different things. I just got a hefty tax return back, so I may consider upgrading to XP in the near future. Thanks a bunch! I'm sure I'll be here venting again if it keeps up. LOL

This may sound ignorant and if it does forgive me, but I am still a newbie at about 3 months and I am so frustruated with props. Every single time I try to render a figure with jewelery, (necklaces mostly) or wings and overgarments such as a cape, My render stops at the point the prop is applied and Poser freezes. I have to shut down Poser and open it again. At first I thought maybe it was my memory but I always open Poser with at least 90% resources and I decided to remove the suspected items and after I remove the jewelery or wings etc... It renders just fine. Am I not doing something right with these particular types of props?? Hope someone can help, my figures look so bland without anything to spice them up!! Thanks, Annette
