I'm posting these because some of you have already seen them. I'm trying to come up with a large variety of diverse styles. What I want to do is eventually sell them in collections. In other words, instead of selling them individually, I want to group several together for one price. These four, for instance could be grouped as a collection for something like $25. What do you think? Or should I just sell them individually. I have about 13 styles completed and I am deciding now which one I'll scrap. Also, should I group them according to style or do a variety pack like the four above? What do you guys want? Anton. ps: Styles above may still be edited before release.

I think one might do both approaches with some success Anton :) Go maybe for an individual price, and a per pack price? That way if one really only needs just the one, or can only afford just the one, it is available? These are splendid btw. I hope you will consider doing some of the hairstyles from the 1920's and 1940's also :)

I don't know if you are familiar with 'Marcell' waves. It's a 20's style now called 'finger' waves. FYI-Marcell was the creator of iron used to create them. I'll add it to my list. Great suggestion. What type of 40's style. Mabey I could do a collection of period styles. The hair ideas are really endless.

I think I asked you this before but will you do a Gibson girl hairstyle too? It looks a bit Victorian and was pretty popular in the early 1900's (like what was worn by some of the women in the movie Titanic). Thanks!

If you don't mind...what are you using to make that hair? And if they are models you can bet your sweet bippy my wallet will be out! ;-P~ Drooling already.

Speaking of Priss from Bladerunner, remember that devastatingly heartbreaking replicant that was not aware she was, and was the pet of the replicant maker? Can't recall her name... her hairstyle was the utter height of 1940's chic. And I would just kill for one of those skull fitting finger curls. And also a nice close short bob cut of very curly hair.

bast ( ) posted Tue, 16 May 2000 at 12:40 AM

Oh... and one more idea ;) How about "hair add ons" like you know, packs of ready to use transparency mapped curls, things to dangle at the ears, bangs to add on, sort of a mix and match make your own do set? That would do me more good than anything :) And yeah, I'd pay you ;P

rtamesis ( ) posted Tue, 16 May 2000 at 1:15 AM

The name of that replicant who didn't know she was one was Rachel, played by Sean Young.

hey anton i have an idea for you on selling these how about if you want to sell them in a group of 4 package at $25 and if each package is going to be the same price how about making a design your own package deal that way whoever can get the exacte {pardon my spelling} hair style that they want i guess not that it would really matter if someone buys one of the styles then chances are they are eventually going to get all of your styles anyhow. but as for me i would love to be able to pick out the styles that i want just in case there is a style that i wouldnt have much use for in a set pack but that may be just my way of thinking :o) jeff

Ede ( ) posted Tue, 16 May 2000 at 2:15 AM

hey, this looks like very good work. i'm looking forward to purchase when you finish, can you do some sort of hair like the known conform curls ? but multilayered, extremely goood textured and even better than any versions seen before? -Ede

Viomar ( ) posted Tue, 16 May 2000 at 2:58 AM

WOW!! The 2 on the right are my favorites!! BAST's suggestion seems good(In packs & individually sold) My 'Posettes' will be dreaming about the new Hairdoos & "Bugging" me to check in often at your 'beauty Parlor"...

LoboUK ( ) posted Tue, 16 May 2000 at 3:54 AM

Nice to see Joanna Lumley with some new, and delightful, hairstyles :) Yeah, I'd buy those Anton - although I think you should sell both packs and individual styles. And an "add-on" pack is an excellent idea Paul

Second (or third or fourth) the call for 'hair pieces'. Think this would be very helpful. I also like the idea of a mix and match pak. Diane B

Why are you trying to pick one to scrap????????? Keep 'em all! -Darth_Logice

CharlieBrown ( ) posted Tue, 16 May 2000 at 9:45 AM

I really like the short "shag" style. You going to do some men's styles too? We don't have as much variety as the ladies in general, but would like some more options than just "Balding Dork" "Generic Hero" "Penn's (of Penn & Teller) Ponytail," "Brady Boy Curls" and the other one or two defaults... :-)

momodot ( ) posted Tue, 16 May 2000 at 10:04 AM

Fantastic! I can't wait. I don't think it matters to me if you sell them single or in packs (i suspect packs would be easier for you)... my limiting factor is that I wouldn't be able to shell out more than around $8 or per hair... set of hair for $20 (or $25) would be great but please don't price the packs higher than that. The hair really is amazing... Hair I want? female casual hair, tucked behind the ears and/or held back with a headband... I really want to see Posette's ears! BTW if you are selling from your site, what works for me is the PayPall escrow system.

Anton_Kisiel ( ) posted Tue, 16 May 2000 at 10:58 AM

I model them in RayDream. I can do a 'hairdo' assembly kit. This would include hair peices textured and mapped to different regions. Then they can be assembled in Poser and exported as a single mesh. The the customer would have to assemble the texture map from the indivuduall ones provided. Also, is there a need for headbands, hairclips, etc. I could create some styles with them incorporated? I will eventually do some men's styles but the girls come first. My experience has been that guy styles aren't real popular. FYI: Body Textures are from my collections at the Prop's Guild.

40's hair style: Veronica Lake

PilotHigh ( ) posted Tue, 16 May 2000 at 12:01 PM

My wish is for a Caesar style do for the male. Been looking for a few months. Aeriol

momodot ( ) posted Tue, 16 May 2000 at 2:51 PM

My preferance would be for the head band for instance to be incorporated. My preference is "everyday" as opposed to "fashion" hair styles, most woman I see around these parts used head bands or barettes at work and in leisure. But the personal issue for me is I think woman are much prettier when you can see thier ears and right now I use Traveler's male2female hair conversions which are great but still I would love other short and mid-length woman's hair that shows the ears.

robert.sharkey ( ) posted Tue, 16 May 2000 at 6:12 PM

WOW, this Hairstyles looks really outstanding. I will buy it anyway, which way you ever sell it. My wish for female-hairs is a really wild hairstyle, because there are many fashion-styles available, but nothing to create some techno-girls or 80s-NewWave-Girls (A little bit close to punk). SHARKEY

Anton_Kisiel ( ) posted Tue, 16 May 2000 at 10:31 PM

Vicki. hmm. Most likely but not to begin with. Almost all of the styles can be used with her. But a transparent hairline would have to be custom to her. Because I know everyone has a Poser4 female, she takes priority. Veronica lake. ANother great idea. And Betty Page too. :) Anton

PilotHigh, there is a Caesar hairstyle on the Zygote costume CD.

Talos ( ) posted Wed, 17 May 2000 at 7:59 PM

I'm very happy about this! I remember seeing the preview awhile back. Happily, my favorites, Marcell wave, 40's hairstyle, and Gibson girl have been anticipated. Besides Veronica Lake, I like that 40's hairstyle that's up in the front and down in the back - the only example that comes to mind is Lena Horne, but I'm sure there were many. You would have to look at old movies, or I could get a screen capture for you. -Talos
