As I kept thinking, I figured 'Hm, considering the classic view of the quest, no one will want to do it, because everyone else will.' So then I figure 'Ha! That leaves the option totally open!' So anyway, after fiddling for a long while, I'm satisfied, and I figured it seemed about as classic "quest" as you can get. So, as the weary hero goes for his beloved prize, an unseen foe rears his head...

You're right. There is something archetypal about the topic of quest. Evertime I see a new image for the challenge I feel two things at the same time: I have seen it before and why didn't I think of it first. Confusing... Very beautiful and serene image!
