Subject: imagemaps/rollover misfunction - ?

Can someone help me with Adobe PhotoShop + ImageReady 7.0 with layer based imagemaps/rollover misfunction: I created a simple button prototype with 6 different layers: Over, Down, Selected, Out, Up, Click. Used different colors and wrote the rollover state to study the mechanism thouroughly. Then I followed the instructions from the manual and Help. As a result when the button is inactive it is in "Click" state, When the mousecursor is over it is in "Over" state, when I take the mouse away it comes to "Out" state, When I press the button the state is "Down" and then turns to "Select". But "Up" state never appears and after that one time test the applet wouldn't work at all (when I'm offline). Please help me or suggest some other easy to use application that would work properly. Thank You in advance, -Anthony Junior. P. S. I tried to upload my psd, but it wasn't allowed :(

I might be wrong BUT I don't think you can't use all 6 states. If you include Selected, it would override other states like Up and Click. You can have an Up, Over, Down, Click and Out.

As for saving it in Image Ready, you would have to

File > Save Optimized As:

which saves the html (with the JS including the preload of images) and the images in a separate folder.

Thank you very much, dreamer101! I decided to omit the selected state and everything seems to work! I'm very pleased and grateful for Your helpful advice. Anthony Junior.
