Subject: Anyone knows about a conflict between Flaming Pears and Photoshop 7?

Hi all, I would like to ask a simple question: anyone of you has encountered a problem between Flaming Pear Filters and Photoshop 7? I just installed the 7 upgrade and the FP filters keep crashing my session, specially when I use two (or more) in a row over the same image. They didn't have any problems at all with PS6. Anyone knows this and/or have a solution? Many thanx in advance.

I've never had problems with Photoshop 7 and Flaming Pear Filters. Does this happen on a small filesize image as well?

Yes, this happens with any kind/size of file. :(

The only FP filter I have is the "flood",and yes,I did have a problem. It didn't crash,it just wouldn't apply the effect. After I got another filter off their site, and useing my old key number from the first filter...it works perfect.I compaired the two filters, and found a slight file size difference between the two(must be a newer version?). Go DL replacement filters, use your key numbers, and see if that fixes it. SWAMP

Thanx again, SWAMP, this was the problem! I did as you suggested and now they're running smoothly again. Thanx so much. S.
