I've been working on the body texture this week to match the head texture, and after staring at it for hours and days its starting to look awful to me. I am learning how to do textures for V3 so that i can start offering some free stuff and maybe someday if they're good enough get to put something in the marketplace. So...please let me know what you think of my girl here - good and bad, so that i can learn better and make better stuff for you all to have! thanx Brooke

Pretty good if you ask me. A bump map might help the lips. Eye brows are thin, but only a little.

looks pretty good- seam on the inside of the arms- eyes hazel- bump on lips- and a slight dark spot on the abdomine just to the right of the navel. tons way better then I can do- can't wait to see it finished geo

It's turning out beautifully :) You just need to stare at something else for a bit to 'refresh' your eyes! The only thing I'd change is on the body--freckles tend to be clustered on the upper-most parts of the body, the ones that are exposed to the most UV rays. I'm pale-skinned and most of mine are on the upper parts of my forearms, the tops of my shoulders and the 'V' below my neck on my upper chest, where a shirt opens up. And they're randomly spaced rather than evenly...like the ones on her nose and cheeks, which you did a very realistic job on :)

Lookin good Dreamer. Going from the head to the bodys a bit tuff because your scale size changes and what you used for the head no longer works. You kind of sort of have to scale it back. The same freckles you used for the head wont work or have to be downsized as well as some of the other texturing you used. I am not a pro at it but some one else might share the how to part.

Yeah, no freckles under the arms-- and they could maybe get a bit smaller. I'm having probs with the eyebrows, they're kinda blurry and the hair seems to be growing straight up. Nipples look good, now need some uneven qualities in color and shape. The changes in the texture sculpting look pretty even and subtle-- geoegress is right about the arm seam but it isnt very bad at all. It's officially NOT awful, pretty good. Ok, let's up that to rather nice. Emily I couldn't do it on a bet.

Hi Brooke, As per your request via IM here's my thoughts. I agree with the comments about the body freckles. They're too big and need to be reduced in size. I also agree that freckle placement on the right areas of the body is important. Back to the face. There is something about the eye texture that seems too flat and unrealistic. Try to find some good pictures of eyes on the web or take a shot of a friend with a camera and see if you can improve the realism of the iris. If you want to post a closeup or email me a low rez copy of the eye tex, maybe I can put my finger on what exactly about it can be improved. Keep at it, it's coming along nicely.

Looks real nice. I would comment on the body freckles too. They seem a bit large and they're all the same color. If you randomize their color as well as size a bit it would look more realistic. Anywhere you look in nature color and light vary, even a wall.
