Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 03 12:46 am)
In P4 you probably can't. In P5, convert the clothes you want to pile into obj objects or props then import them as props, clothify them in the cloth room over where you want to drop them and set the cloth/cloth collisions on and collide with the ground and the other stuff already on your pile. It will work on most things, though the odd piece of clothing is not open at the ends, in which case you might have to fiddle with the grouping tool before exporting as an obj or prop. Use about 30 drape frames (you needn't have more than 1 frame in the actual pic). Make sure you untick drape from zero pose for this, it only wastes time and will screw you up if there is anything that's a figure that you're colliding with. I've done some this way and they turned out quite believable.

Check out the Gypsy Rose morphing bikini in the marketplace. My idea of rebooting is kicking somebody in the butt twice!
Also, Trekkiegrrl has a morphing blanket and Rubio has a nifty sheet. Any of them with the right scale and texture could be a wadded-up garment. (I'd suggest a denim-type texture.) There are a few beach towels around, too, or a carpet which is scaled down might work to give her something to sit on. PhilC has a morphing flying carpet and LaurieA did a rug which both have wrinkles so that they'd look right laying on sand. (If those are plastic lenses in the glasses, she doesn't want to just set them anywhere!) Carolly
Thanks for the responses. I finished the picture.(in the gallery now) I suddendly had the answer. I remembered that I had a great deal of trouble drawing hands and feet in the past, until i learned to do them properly I used a little trick; not showing them, or obstructing the view :) That's kinda what I did with the pic. I obstructed the view by adding a radio in front of it, then I used the same handbag prop I allready used, made a jeans texture to fit, and rescaled it so it looked like a neatly folded up pair of jeans. Then I added the T-Shirt from the V2 morphable clothing set, played with some dails, some twist and bends later I got something I think works rather well. Cheers. Axe.
I just had to follow this work. I hesitate to offer a critique but I will. I think it's a lovely arrangement. I think the hills in the background draw attention where it needs to be. It's an innocent scene. And more common than others might think. What you did in the final render was a good workaround. If you are any good at postwork (and such), you might consider adding (somehow...not that I could do it) bicycle tracks and some "foot" tracks. The reason I had to "follow" this work? I was walking around on the beach in Sweeden. To be quite frank, I was looking for for the famous blond Sweed. And, I don't get to too many beaches. Anyway (anyroad...LOL), as I was making my way through the (high) dunes toward the shoreline, a young girl (early 20's) was ahead of me by about 40 or 50 feet. She was carrying several things and was being annoyed by what looked to be Labrador. Well, the dog was really happy and she had some sort of "throw" toy he was interested in. Without much warning, she stopped, dropped everything, and as I approached, peeled off her t-shirt and dropped it on the ground. She bent over, and grabbed the toy (some oval looking thing) and threw it. Of course the dog took off like a madman...LOL. She used the time to sort through her stuff and as I was passing this girl clad only in a swimsuit bottom, she spread a big towel on the sand, smiled at me and said something I didn't understand, and went about her business as the dog came loping back to her. I thought to myself, "How wonderful for someone to be so carefree!" Then, I passed on by making sure I didn't turn around and take another look. After all, I am American and had to remember some manners. So, this scene you have shown made me remember that moment that happened about 20 years ago. See? You never know how your art will affect someone!
