Subject: Before I start on the P4 Male Seams Guide...

Just a quick question for you all - I've heard that the P4 Male texture template included with Poser 4 is not accurate. Is this true, and if so, has a corrected one been created? I need to have an accurate one before I can work on a seams guide, or it will be useless. Thanks, and thank you again for all the positive feedback on my other seam guides. :) SnowS Hoping his pictures are worth 1001 words.

Use my GETCOLTX to make a texture map template. It is in the Poser Free Stuff.

If I make a new Map for a figure using UVmapper for instance, where is the info linking each point on the mesh to its rlated point on the texture map kept? in the .obj file itself?

Thank you Norkle, I was wondering where those went. However, I still plan to make a seams guide for the P4 Male, as I personally have had difficulty using those guides accurately. Thanks anyway, I appreciate the link. SnowS

To Momodot :: this information is stored in the vt lines in the .OBJ file. The vn lines are directions at right angles to the surface to store the result of smoothing.
