I downloaded MacInstaller 1.0.2 and dropped some folders I downoaded into it. 1) was this the rigt thing for me to get get if I want to convert PC forms to mac? 2) When I drop them in, it doesn't detect any libraries, and I can't do any of the options. Whats up w/ this? I feel like an idiot, but I wanna mess around with some of the stuff here!

Aaargh cap'n ye be just one step short. Get MacConverter first. Drag the folders you want converted on to that. Then you can use MacInstaller to organize your files and libraries. BTW these two utils are indespensible to the Mac user Good luck jje

I don't use Installer that much but Converter is great.

Whew, I couldn't load all of the last thread so I couldn't reply. I love Maconverter and Macinstaller. I suspect you have it working already, but notice that Macinstaller will create a new ExtraRuntime folder and put everything there so that the Runtime folder is left stock. Just back up the ExtraRuntime folder and you can back it up. Then you are always ready for that big hard drive crash. I open my new download and utilites folders, drag and drop twice, Option-Close the windows and launch Poser from the Apple menu. I'll never go back to the other way.

forget the '...and you can back it up.' part =)
