I'm sure someone can help me with this. I want to easely create rocks and trees for export in another program. However, when I select either the tree or rock and go "File/Export"... the export feature is greyed out. Am I missing something? does it have anything to do with procedural textures? Thanks for your guidance.

You can't export trees in Bryce. but you should be able to export rocks. I think adding a procedural texture would have something to dp with not being able to export the rocks. Make some more rocks, but don't add any material, because you wouldn't be able to export the material anyway.

You might need to click on the "e", which brings up the smoothing window, then ctrl-D, which will give you an export dialog. Or you can use Bantam 3D grass-it makes rocks and it's free. Arleen
