The renderosity Marketplace accepts payment via PayPal and check or Money Order, so maybe you can pay that way.

doesn't Paypal require a Credit card? I'm in the same boat as superman..not even a pocket full of kryptonite..;) Just keep your eyes open, there's beacoup free stuff out there, just to get you started..

Actually you can use both checking accounts and cerdit cards with Paypal.

You can authorize direct payments from your bank with Paypal....no credit card involved. For many transactions (I can't think of exception), debit cards work as well as credit cards. If you have a bank account, there's usually a way to spend out of it even if you don't have a credit card. And there are checks and money orders as was mentioned before. When I decided to get my spending habits under control a year ago, credit cards were the first thing to go...and I can't say I miss them.

That's not for every country I tried to pay otherwise then with a creditcard but I can't. We don't have checks and the bank needs more information then most stores give they need a special number. And it cost me 8 to 16 extra for every transaction. Diddn't work for me

Last I checked you can use PayPal with just a verified checking account. You give them the basic info from your checking account [contains no more info than a paper check would], they verify your account by depositing some money to it. [Don't get excited...they only put small amounts like 4-cents or so in your account!] You then verify the amounts they have deposited back to them and your account is verfied and you pay through you checking account same as credit card, etc. Hope that doesn't sound too confusing...confused the hell out of me when I proofread what I wrote!!

How about friends? Before I got my debit card, I used a friend's debit card. I would give them my money to cover the charge, then they would place the order. Right now I just have my fingers crossed regarding the TrueSpace 6.6 offer. My debit card expired last month and I haven't got a replacement. Ordered a replacement two months ago and it hasn't arrived yet. If my replacement doesn't come in time, making the connections in time to get in on the offer will be hit or miss.
