Hey, First porb I think you 'replaced' the coat with the figuer. Don't double click the coat just click on the two checkmarks. (And not the one check mark). Second prob : Use the Confirm to. You can find it at edit I think. Then just select Figuer 1 (If you didnt rename the Figuer) and click ok and you're set. Hope this helps :) Happy Rend's ~GI

Forgot to add. Alway's Pose your figuer THEN add clothes. Never add clothes and the pose if you do you will have to Confirm the clothes after eatch pose. So sort out the poses first :) happy Rend's ~GI

Also what is this popup message that says The current figure contains customized geometry would you like to apply these to the new figure type and you know ity has 3 check boxes what is that stuff?

Heliix ( ) posted Fri, 08 August 2003 at 6:55 PM

Ok. they are conforming to the figure now but, say like I have a white dress shirt on him then put the black trenchcoat on you can sorta see the white shirt thru the trenchcoat on his arm. How do I fix this?

Another question, if you edit the size of the person, like his arms and legs to make him look a lil buffer. How do you get the clothes to fit. You can see the skin thru the clothes when you do.

One more time. I can't get hats to fit right. The fedora included with poser especially. Any tips?

OK One question at a time: The pop up is for when you've double clicked something, that means generally: Oh cr*p, I double clicked again ;o) Just cancel it. Unless you really WANT to replace the current character of course. I never check any of the checkmarks so I'm not sure what difference they make. Then, When you put clothes on top of each other, poke thru's are almost bound to happen. In general you'll have to postwork yourself out of that, in Photoshop, or Paintshop or Gimp or whatever you prefer :o) When you morph your character the clothes will no longer fit. A program that can help is The Tailor, you can get it at Daz3D, but it costs money, which I remember you mentioned you had very little of :o) How doesn't the Feodora fit? Have you tried to scale it? Perhaps only in for instance the x-direction? You CAN try to scale the clothes too to make him look buff, but in general it won't work. Hope that helped a bit :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
