did you create this terrain using a dte noise filter? If so these terrains are buggy and may fritz out like this. i suggest if you create a terrain using DTE noise with the easter egg of shift-clicking on the pictures button in the terrain editor, export the image immediately after it;s creation in the terrain editor. Then load this image as a new terrain and delete the old on. Now you won;t have problems.

1...use the "Gaussian Edges" in the Editor
2...change the Color of the terrain in the mat. editor
then I click ok to go back to the main screen and my terrain grows back EVERY TIME????
