If you find the image (URL above) in the gallery, you can read "Needs touchup" under the thumbnail as average ranking. If you read the comments - all excitement, no negative words. The average ranking now is "Great"... I have seen such rankings in the Digital Comics gallery too...

Yep I've seen this too, on one of my images (Specimen Jar) its got an average ranking of excellent yet on the thumb its almost there, also seen one of Isir's (needs touch ups) and one of Hilary's (almost there) the same. I must admit when I saw the one on mine I thought WHAT THE!!!!!!!! then I saw the larger image with the average of excellent, think its just a funny little glich in the Renderosity system, perhaps we should rename the R****** sever 'HAL' it seems to have a mind of its own and obviously didn't like my Speciment Jar LOL. I have same problem with two of my images:There is something in the dark 4 and Mantigua. I saw several other images with same problem not only in the Fractal gallery. Greetings........Wojtek......

I saw a thread in the Bryce forum that says that R'osity programmers are working to fix some strange anomalies that were occuring in the ranking system, and that for a time, things might be a mess. Hopefully, they will normalize soon! Tres

It's one of the reason why I desable ranking for my images and why I never give a rank to other image's, anyway in my opignon it's so subjective...

hmmm ... if one says, "nice" and the next says, "hmmm" ... then the average ranking is ... yeah, "needs touchups" LOL
