Subject: Anybody else having trouble with PC monthly membership?

Now that I'm in my second month at the DAZ Platinum Club, I'm no longer able to make purchases. All I get, when I add something to the shopping cart, is the error message, "Sorry, but the item you are requesting can only be ordered if you have a Platinum Club Annual Membership." I haven't gotten a response to an email query in a few days(for that matter, it's been a week or longer on a couple other queries). Since the problem started the month following my joining, I'm assuming that they are having growing pains with a new system. I'm curious whether anybody else, with a monthly membership, is having any trouble ordering, particularly if you joined on the first day (meaning your membership is old as mine--later ones may take longer for glitches to show up after the first month). Does anybody know when the monthly voucher is usable? I had wanted to order something from the Michael sale, but the voucher didn't show up in the cart, so I decided to hold off making the puchase till I could find out when the voucher is usable. Now, the sale's over and I can't purchase anything with my PC membership, so I'll have to wait for the next sale. For whatever reason, Lovey Bear always shows up in the shopping cart as a $14.95 item even though it's supposed to be available to PC members for $1.99. That's a problem that occurred before the membership thing got messed up.

Go to your account and you should see an active PClub membership and the date that it will end. That will let you know if you have an active account first. vouchers are only usable the month they are issued, they cannot be built up for add $5+$5 etc. it's a once a month shot. The Vouchers are applyed just before the actual purchase and you will see in the report of your cost a line item that says voucher applied -5.00 or something to that effect. It threw me when that hit also, but they did work. I'm an annual original PClub member so I do not know about the monthly or new. I have experienced hickups and oddities but it's usually associated with a new web update or changes to the Daz Site. I generally wait a day or two after things come out so they have time to fix any weirdness going on. Call the 800 Daz line if you can I've had great experience with talking to humans at Daz and things have gotten done n fixed quickly. Email has worked also, but recently they have been so swamped that the 800 line has been better. hope you get it worked out, I'm sure Daz will take care of you, they have great support.

I had that problem yesterday, after I logged in, it was fine....

Still cannot make any purchases, after logging in, but since others have the same trouble, it should eventually get fixed. I'll wait another week and then call if I'm still having the problem. With the monthly membership, it doesn't show when the PC Club expires, but it does at least show that I've already got the voucher. I wasn't sure whether it immediately shows up on the first of the month or later and the Michael sale ended the day after Labor Day, so I missed that one. It would still be nice to see the voucher applied on the final purchase screen instead of learning about it, in the email confirmation, after the purchase is processed, particularly since the voucher has a number of rules associated with it and cannot be used for everything.
