Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 09 3:46 am)
I see in the Libraries!Daz folder subfolders called Victoria 3BodyChanVis. Is that where you mean?. If so- where specifically? I don't see how poser can look there since its not in the usual locations- Character-Pose-Faces- etc. I bought a V3 character- the instructions & unzip paths all specify the Pose folder. Please advise, Pack
"338 files in the !DazV3bodyChanVis folder " You mean that you messed up the structure of the files inside !DAZ? All of the files are inside the same folder? Oh bad! Poser 5 ain't hurt, but V3 is not going to work. Reinstall V3 with paths. You can install to an empty folder and find all of the misplaced folders in Poser Runtime that you installed incorrectly and delete them. They may even sort together by date. then drag the new files over, or delete them and install V3 again directly to P5 Runtime I don't even want to think about what it looks like if all of those *.pz2 files are all mixed together. Some are intended to be in the Pose library and some in !DAZ - inside the correct folder there. The actual *.pz2 files that have the readScript paths in them may be in any folder in Pose library you wish. In P5 you can even nest them - should nest them = all INJ in one main folder and all REM in another. The files in !DAZ - the files that the paths in the readScript files are calling must be where the readScript path expects to find them. Otherwise Poser may have a long term absence seizure while it pretends to look for the files. To touch base on the basics, these files are all simple text files. You can view them in a text editor.

I think I deleted the wrong file in the P5 root folder. I accidentaly unzipped stuff there without paths turned on. Now P5 locks up every time I use an INJ pose. Anyone know what I did. If I uninstall Poser5, does it wipe out my Runtime folders? regards, Pack
