Order Processing Failure! AVS Failed: avsaddr=X, avszip=X. We were unable to verify your card address or Zip/Postal Code. Please contact Bondware Inc. at payments@renderosity.com or call us toll free at 1-866-220-2949. There is NOTHING wrong. And this sits in 'Pending' in my bank account until it times out...several DAYS. The only condition that is the same as the last time this happened is Trae for Ichiro by Handspan Studios. Aaaaarrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

It worked. But I feel like I have to request a reset before I try to purchase anything. Shouldn't the verification happen before a pending charge is applied?

Credit Cards have a two step process. An authorization puts a "hold" on the funds and a settlement actually charges on your card. Your credit card was authorized, but not settled because the address and zip were not able to be verified. This means your card company shows an authorization from Bondware, Inc. as a "pending" charge; however, you will not actually be charged. It can take from 2 to 7 days for this "pending" authorization to be released from your credit card. You can contact your card company by the toll-free number on the back of your card to find out how long the charges will be in "pending" since they will not be settled. Or we can verify your information over the phone and settle one of the charges manually and make your order available for download. Just be sure that if you get the AVS failure, you don't try and click the Make secure Purchase button again because each time you do that, it puts another pending charge for that amount on your account. Thank you, Stacey Renderosity Store

Yeah, I know how the pending works. But why does this happen? I never have trouble shopping anywhere else. I'm going to assume here it's because you treat it as an ATM transaction rather than a credit card one? Renderosity is the only merchant I deal with that does this. What are the restrictions in this case....like are you limited to so many transactions in a specified period of time? Is that what this is all about? And I've tried to call. Because now there's another problem. When I was able to make a purchase it went through fine, but now it's listed as pending in BOTH the Electronic transfer area AND the credit card transactions...doubled up. Sigh. But I need to know a name before I can get through by phone. You sure don't make it easy. :(

'at's funny! I had the same problem, too; so I could not buy items that still remain in my shopping cart. And this happened with Webring also. But not with others. And this is a recent feature. I've been buying things from a long time ago, and since a few months it looks like there're some changes in the Internet banking... Just bothering.
