I'd have to give ruffles a bit of thought but lace should be easy: 1) create your lace pattern 2) Apply it to your clothing tex in the way that you want. (For the sake of argument here lets say we are using the hem) 3) in P'shop or your favorite gfx application take that texture, invert it and turn it to grayscale. Save that new file as XXX_trans.jpg 4) apply that trans tex to the transparancy channel in Poser and crank the Trans_min and Trans_max sliders to 100% Note: make sure you apply the texture to the entire clothing object and not just part of it. For a different effect, import a 2nd identical clothing object on top of your first (you may have to scale it up the slightest bit) and apply your texture and transmap to it. Giving the effect of a lace covering over fabric.

Is it possible to add ruffles or lace to clothes or a texture? Working on a couple of new characters and ruffles and lace would help a lot. thanks butch
