Subject: Window troubles! Help!!!

Okay I have a strange new problem that just creeped up on me. My window won't go to 800x600! or any other normal size for that matter. Not when working and not when rendering! I use pp4 and windows xp. I've adjusted my screen size on my properties, checked that I didn't have the constrain ratio checked, and read until I was so bored I could holler (wich admittedly wasn't long!). I really just want to play, but it's getting frusterating that my renders won't be proper size. Can you offer up any suggestions, help of any kind please??? I sure would appreciate it a ton! Thank you much!

Which window? Windows desktop, Poser workspace, or the render window? What happens when you try to resize - any error messages?

Oh geez sorry, both my workspace poser window and my render window have the same problem. Thanks EnglishBob :)

Assuming you don't have 'Lock window' checked in the window size dialog - and that shouldn't stop you changing the render window size - I don't know of anything that will do this. You could try reverting to the factory interface (Edit > General Preferences) and see if that fixes it. What actually happens when you try to resize the window? Does it just sit there and look at you, or do you get an error message?

Hi there, I've tried the factory thingy too. When I resize the window, it will resize in numbers, but only to square size (even sides) no rectangular sizes, like 800x600 ext. It's okay though, I do appreciate your trying to help, but I found a way around, I can do it manually for the work window, then the new render window will go according to that so for now that's what I'll do. Good enough for me lol. Thank you again!
