Can anyone get into the Poserworld subscription area? I can get into the free area but the members area is a dead link.

I can't even get subscriptions to open, it keeps telling me the page can't be found.

Me neither - they do have trouble from time to time.

Steve, have you tried Demon? I'm not with them at the moment, but I'm contemplating it. They offer a very reliable service.

I was going to switch to Pipex as next door is using it with no problems at all but Virgin don't allow migration (allegedly) and it takes 30 days (or so) to convert ADSL over...I switched to Virgin after a long time with BT and they were awesome in comparison so I think i'll stick with them and see if they clear things up...I also considered UKonline as i've had a pay dial up account with them for years but its a min of 12,months and being stuck with any UK isp for 12 months is a bit insane IMHO ....i wonder if thew rest of the world suffer like we do....Steve

You should try signing up with NTL, now that really sucks. 8) I've got my phone through them and broadband and with the number of times their system goes down I do think they should pay me to be their customer. lol 8) Also UK. Catlin

Catlin, they are still trying to flog me their broadband and I keep telling them to shove off. I've been on ADSL loooooooooong before they brought out their broadband, after chasing them for ages and ages and being told 'In three months' for nearly 2 years, I had a BT line installed and got on BT Openworld. So now they keep telling me "Oh but you can get much faster speeds with NTL" and the very second I ask them if that comes with a static IP, a proper router, NAT translation, Firewalling on the router etc etc etc they just blink, swallow hard and go "Umm.... I don't know." Their problem is that when they try to sell it to me, I know more than the person at the other end of the phone. When I spoke to BT I had a very savvy person on the line who was able to answer all my questions perfectly. I'm currently looking at Freedom2surf because they offer high speed, static IP, NAT, etc etc etc for a very low price. (I'm looking at the 2mb connection) It's also monthly which isn't such a bad deal, if they are no good, I'm not tied in for a year.

The software that NTL use is disgusting, they really ought to get programmers who know what they're doing. Up until I had done some reinstalls I didn't realise that when you've connected once you don't need to install their software again. Every time I installed the damned thing it would wreck my system and I'd have to reformat and install again. I've been thinking for a while about moving elsewhere it's the cost that keeps getting me. If I could get a good connection for similar to what I'm paying just now I think I'd go with it. Catlin
