i've seen some great images around here does anyone have or share a realistic skin/face texture as great as the ones known from allerleirauh, paul hafeli or catharina ? i cant find anything similar in freestuff. seem's like all the great stuff will be kept secret :-)) -Ede

well if you're taking my wishes let's say slightly made up for a girl about 19 years old, i want some little wrinkles around the eyes, and pores of the skin to be visible, so it's got to be extremely large and highly detailed 3072 or 4096 don't waste time on the lips, i already have some :-) if you want to check my "Photorealistic Texture" in freestuff i posted for vicky, you have the things i want, just with lower detail and unreal skin little freckles on the nose would be ok like its in the rendering of paul hafeli some posts earlier thats kind of exactly what i need :-) -Ede

did you see zygotes online store with the latest eye textures (eyeballs only) of catharina ? there's an image of a whole eye look at the skin thats exactly what i've been looking for all the time -Ede

Okay, I'm out. Unless you have a good real model and a digital camera and great lights, you might as well forget it, it seems. there are certainly no good source images on the entire internet. I know Allie had a digital camera and I'll bet Catherina has all sorts of nifty gadgets to be the lordess she is of all things pixel. Paul too. (not lordess :) People have a lot of crappy scanners out there, and don't people just love to compress? Arg. -Darth_Logice

I wouldn't dare talk directly to the Poser dieties, I'm not worthy. However, there are alternatives. First of all, to get pores, all you really need is a reversed bump map. Too easy. Let me see if I can throw some crap together in ps without a photo at all. I'll betcha I can get some pretty good results just painting. I'll keep you posted. -Darth_Logice

Are you looking for free textures or are you willing to pay? Paul Hafeli has some wonderful P4 Nude Female for sale at BB Bays. Tim Laubach has some great free ones that are photo realistic. I'm not familiar with allerleirauh's work in textures, she's only done two that I know. One is for the P4 male the other for an old woman. Catherina, has some head textures for sale at Renderosity Store. Byte Me Ok has some head and body textures for the Vicky model that look photo realistic at Renderosity Store. No texture will have pores jumping out at you without using some other post work. Darth's suggestion is your best bet. Try using or making a bum map.
