If the problem is persistent there's a thread that might help at the truly splendid annoyances.org site. URL above.Cheers,

The following doesn't sound likely in yor case, but just on the off-chance... Have you installed the latest patch? I had this problem when I first bought Vue, except that the full screen size "stuck" for one load, but then reverted to the smaller size. The problem disappeared when I applied the 4.12 patch (or possibly the one before that).
When I do a render to the full screen size Vue paints the picture full screen and when done automatically makes the image smaller with scroll bars. How do I change this behavior--I want it to stay full screen after the render until I tell it outherwise, which was the default in vue 4. I did not see a setting. What's up?
As far as I know you can't change that setting, I know, I'm not sure whether I like this new "feature" or not (been there since Vue 4 Pro), it's nice because I can tell when it's done rendering when I'm working on other projects and all I have to do is look to see if it's stretched or not, but like you I'd like to see the whole render, not just a little window of it. I usually just save it and look at it in windows explorer since I only let the render finish if it's the final one.

heyas; when i installed vue, i was at 800x600, but nowadays i'm at 1024x768. well, my vue is totally confused by this. it either opens small in the corner and under the start menu and needs to be maximized, or it starts an inch below the top of the screen and needs to be un-maximized (restored) and stretched to the right size. any handy trick for getting this thing straightened out? :)
