It's not a virus, and you do not need to re-install Windows. Your Temporary Internet pages cache may be full. Try emptying it. (Link gives directions.) If that doesn't work, try rebooting.I've never understood why that happens occasionally, but it seems more likely to happen when a page is reached via a coded link (rather than directly browsed to). For example, I tend to experience this effect when clicking a Renderosity download button takes me to a jpg picture which I then want to save. I save it as a bitmap (for security) but whenever possible, I also add the picture page to my list of favourites. If I then return to the same page offline, there seems to be no problem whatsoever with windows saving the image as a titled jpg. I've a separate partition exclusively for Temporary Internet Files and there's always loads of space so it isn't lack of cache space for me.

Today when I came to the site and downloaded a couple of pictures, I noticed that I could only save them in Bitmap formate and the title bar instead of giving me the name of the picture or the id of the pic all it got was "untitled" This has happened before and the only way that I could change this was to reload windows. It doesn't happen on the other sites that I have gone today. Any answers. I did all that I knew to do, such as checking setting on my computer and my profile here. thanks and Happy holidays
