That is certainly my feeling too- that it's like using "Lightwave Light". I also am really beginning to realize that DAZ Studio will become the new "Middle Ground" for Poser-Bryce-Vue and even-Poser-Lightwave-3DSMAX users. It feels like LW-MAX in the Advanced Surfaces menu, and can look like Bryce or Vue when needed, and then spin around and look virtually identical to Poser. Huge "Wish List" features like reading in ALL Poser files, Poser posing, morphs, etc. in a Ray Tracing program (no running back and forth between different softwares using specialized importers), SHADERS!, PYTHON!, Animation coming, Cel-Shade and HDRI Plug-Ins coming, Fur-Hair Plug-Ins Coming, etc. THIS is the software to learn and use in 2004!

...thanks to all the clever tips on this and the Daz forum. My thanks to all my fellow alpha testers. By the way, is it just me or does this program sometimes feel like Lightwave "light"? Or VERY, VERY LIGHTwave. Or...well, you get the idea. -jjsemp
