Subject: Live Motion anybody?

Hey, I'm experimenting with Live Motion, the "Flash Killer", from Adobe. I realize that it's not Macromedia Flash, but I was hoping that someone out there uses it too. There isn't a LiveMotion category, so I put it here in hopes that someone could help me. First of all, I trying to figure out how to make something loop until another portion of the swf file loads. Ya know, the "LOADING... PLEASE WAIT..." thingie. Also, when ever I export it into the swf file format, portions of the image appear to be screwed up. Like it looks jaggedy, and I don't mean pixely. Maybe it's just me. Any how, if anybody uses LiveMotion, I would appreciate the help. Thanks.

I am kinda of a newbie, but I will try to help. 1. I am not sure but I think you might have to do it in your web page-layout program. I have GoLive 5.0 and there seems to be a couple of ways to accomplish this. The best seems to be to have the first one set on Auto-Play and have the second one play after the first one finish's. I will try this out in the future to see if this works alright 2. Same with myself sometimes. The swf file seems to be better when loaded in GoLive and tested through my browser.

Here is my first with LiveMotion and GoLive. I have just been experimenting and learning how to use the tools, palette's, etc. Here is the link: http://spanfarkle.tripod.com/pages/flashtest.html

Also, I was going through the manual this weekend and think there might be something that will help you on or around page 179.

Would that be a nested animation? I just got Livemotion the other day, haven't played with it much. You're right about p.179, I need to go through this manual more. I also just picked up a book called Adobe LiveMotion f/x&Design, by The Coriolis Group. It looks real good. The ISBN is 1-57670-676-4 if anyone is interested. I almost wish I hadn't bought Flash 4.0 too, wonder if I can get my money back? 8^) Marque
