A correction: It was over $750 of 58 DAZ products. :("First of all. Didn't you download it already?" Last time I checked the DAZ account is in my name, so it's my perogative of what I chose to download and when. Since there was no timebomb on that content, I wasn't compelled to spend endless hours of downloading needlessly. I rather liked the JUST IN TIME concept of downloading only what I needed. But, I don't need to explain my reasons any further. "If not, why not?" Simple answer. Because there is NO CONTENT to download. It's gone. Completely destroyed by the Empire. "Second, a lot of requested that all the content be removed because we already downloaded it and it was just cluttering up our account. I for was was happy to see my PC renewal content go." Then why was I excluded on any knowledge of this decision? I have a right to be informed of any actions affecting my DAZ account. DAZ never informed me by e-mail their intentions of moving my reward content because the problems they are having with this current promotion as a courtesy to returning PC members. Had they informed me inadvance, I would have not been given the surprise of my barren DAZ account AFTER I just made a purchase. "I'm sure a call to DAZ will get it all restored to you account." Now that's reasonable. However, it's just the initial reaction of not seeing my content and updaters in MY account. That's what caused me to react. Besides, there is no one at DAZ to take my call at this time of the morning. But, hey I'll get over it. :)
Ratteler, you are absolutely right. There more pressing issues with the state our world is in today and there are friends and loved ones that need tending and attention. Sometimes it's a relief just to get things off my chest with a primal scream. That said, I'm already over it as I don't keep trivial things at bay for too long and life goes on as usual. I am sincere when I say sorry for your loss. -Brian
Hey Rattler.... Let me just say this. Having a pet is just about like having a child. I know that the loss of a pet can be as much of a loss as losing a loved one. I am truely sorry for your loss. Our pets are our friends. Just wanted to give you a little support. I know it isn't much, but sometimes it helps to hear someone give their support. Wade

Sorry to hear about your loss. I know how you must feel because I lost my best friend of 16 years, my cat, just weeks ago. Yep, sometimes we moan about things that aren't really so serious when we look at the big picture, I guess we are all guilty of doing that. Losing a friend or a part of your family really knocks everything back into perspective.

Let me preface by saying anyone who knows me, knows me as courteous and patient. I normally don't get vocal on forums and usually handle things in a polite manner even in situations that are beyond my control. But tonight I have something to voice out. I faithfully signed up for Platinum club when it first appeared, renewed for a second year only to find out that I have been slighted by DAZ and my membership. I have spent hundreds of dollars in the first year of Platinum and remained to do so...until tonight. You see, it seemed business as usual purchasing though the DAZ store. I was having my "oh, time to use my membership benes at the beginning of the month" itch. After I completed a $35 dollar purchase, I went to my downloads page and noticed the only content that was there was tonights purchase and exe the DAZ Alpha. What happened to my $65 content for renewing and my updaters? This is outrageous! This is the last straw. I have been patient to all of the offers that people are receiving that didn't sign up for PC or even renewed and didn't have to pay the upfront annual fee. 1. They offered everyone a 50% sale to everyone at the end of the year. Hindsight, had I known that I would have not renewed until the next year. 2. They are letting everyone have PC rates for a month without paying up front the annual fee. One extra free month is meaning less to me. I STILL paid my annual fee up front. People are getting the same benefits that I paid into. You said that it will benefit existing members. Please tell me how. I don't view it a good thing when you let everyone have the same PC rates and take the $65 content you gave me as a 'reward' for renewal away. Taking away my content is W_R_O_N_G Sorry, DAZ but you are making a total joke of PC renewalship.
