I captured the image of this moon using my cam. 1. Do You think it will be useful as a Background image for Poser?? The original size of the picture is like. 2300x1700 pixels, this is just a croped version of it. 2. What is the minimum requirement for an image to qualify as a background for Poser?? 3. Since I love photograhing nature, maybe some of my images maybe useful for you guys. Please let me know. thank you SNAKEY

There is no actual minimum requirement for a poser background though 640x480 would probably be the minimum size that most people generally use. The original sized picture would be best. I think that some of your photos would be very useful for poser projects.

when I say the original size is best, I mean 2300x1700 is a good size for most uses.

It's a great shot of the moon but I think you'd need a little more going for it than just blackness. As it stands, it looks like something that was rendered rather than an actual photo. A more useful shot IMHO would have been showing its effect on the ground below...silhouettes, reflections, etc.

Thanks xantor and ellemat. Thanks for your tips and suggestions. Let me rephrase my question again. I have photos 2300 x1700 at 72 dpi. I have been told that some of the images with lesser resolution pixalate when you render them. Can someone please educate me on this?? I enclose here an image at it's optimum size duly zipped. This picture has been poste edited to look a bit more arty. Could someone please try it out and tell me what it lacks, thank you. SNAKEY

A lot depends on the end use of the image. Is it for screen use? Will it be printed? For screen use, the maximum screen use size usually used is 600 high x 800 wide at 72 dpi. If you were going to print the image, you would use 300 dpi. Photos with a larger resolution can always be sized down but you cannot always blow them up without them becoming "pixelated". :)

The picture looks very blurry, I dont know if that is the effect you wanted to achieve or...
