Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 20 7:20 am)
Suplimental. The YinYang is suppose to be there ... the geometric floor texture isn't. This is P5 firefly with raytrace on ... Draft mode. I know there are a lot of little "mistakes" in the piece ... I expect to do a lot of post render becuase of the extreme positions the models are in ... but I know how to do that part ... it's the floor that has me baffled. Thank you again. Boni

1 - The floor has a bump or displacement applied -- set the minimum displacement rate a little higher -- try 0.1 2 - Turn on Polygon smoothing for the figures in the render. On both of those nother figures, those poses can be achieved with a lot less deformation -- I know it doesn't matter since you plan to postwork the piece, but I sorta felt obliged to mention it. I'd be willing to give a go at it if you'd like. Love the idea, btw! :)
thou and I, my friend, can, in the most flunkey world, make, each of us, one non-flunkey, one hero, if we like: that will be two heroes to begin with. (Carlyle)
That isn't a texture.
I assume you're using a two-sided square prop for your floor?
If so, replace it with the single-sided square or ground plane. Poser 5 doesn't like double-sided geometry, and this sort of mosaic artifacting will usually occur with such meshes.
Or, if you must use the double-sided square, apply a Simple_Color node to the material's Displacement channel, and set the displacement strength to 0.01; that will "separate" the sides sufficiently to avoid the render glitch.
Oh, my, I thanked both of you in the forum ... but must have deleted it before it posted. I'm so sorry. Ynsaen, Thank you for your great advice, and if you could help in the poses I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for the complient as well. Little Dragon, Acutally you het the nail on the head. That ws the problem and it's been fixed. Thank you ver much. Boni
