Subject: adding a 'Taper' dial to a prop?

I've made a prop using Poser's primitives. I'd like to add the "TAPER" dial to the prop. I've tried hacking what I thought was the taper code from a simple .cr2 file, into the .pp2 file but the dial refuses to show up.

I'm trying to fit a bit and bridle prop to Mikey.

The easiest way to imagine this is a simple box prop, add a 'taper' dial to it and you can narrow the top.

Can this be done?
