Subject: Room Of Secrets - Free Workbench Prop.

Uploaded this addition to last night and it's currently waiting to be approved. This free item consists of a fully textured 3d workbench smart prop, scaled to fit the 'Room Of Secrets'. The firefly renderer of Poser 5 may produce some minimal undesired 'ballooning' of some edges of the prop model, depending on the scene being rendered. This can easily be remided by deselecting the 'smooth polygons' check box in the offending items' property panel.

It is a good one, thanks. I already d/ld from 3DC as it is already posted there, and it fits into the ROS scheme very nicely.

'Pakled' - Thank you for your comment. Around here we always have nice things on dirty workbenches! When I finish 'The Cabinet' expansion then perhaps a less nice character may be included in the image. 'Mondoxjake' - Thank you. I don't post the download link in this forum in case the freestuff mod's feel I am trying to circumvent the freestuff approval system. The irony is the download link is here at Renderosity! Perhaps existing customers/merchants should have an automated freestuff upload process?

Sometimes it takes quite a while b4 things get the OK and posted in the freestuff...I guess due to work load of the admin and how many items have to be reviewed at any given time. I see nothing wrong with posting alternate links for those who don't want to wait for one sites approval. I am not sure how the RO TOS deals with this, but I have seen others post links in the forum prior to approval by RO.

Thanks! I nipped off to 3D Commune because I just can't wait. :) You may have some trouble there - one of my freebies was for a Renderosity market place item, and 3DC said I couldn't mention that in the details. So I don't know if they'll like your link much. :)

'EnglishBob' - I've had problems with images at 3DC because they mentioned other sites in the products used info' So far no problems with free items. Only the link contains 'Renderosity', not the details.

Go figure some of the 'touchy' issues some of these sites have. Makes you wonder if some of these sites have the right to use the tag 'community' anyplace in their promotion. A community is a collective body working together for the good of all...if you wish to isolate yourself into a small group within a community you have a 'clique'...LOL.

'Mondoxjake' - Exactly. One particular site raised issues with one of my images because it named other sites. Yet, at the same time happily left images with references to DAZ. When raised it was explained that everyone is DAZ's competitor! Ludicrous is the poliest word I can think of.

There is no problem with putting your link to a freestuff item in a post as long as it doesn't have an image that violates tos along with it, or a link to an age restricted site. If it turns out to be something we can't approve (eg, has copyright issues or whatever) then the post will get deleted too, but as you are making your own models I can't see that happening. Nice bench, it's up in freestuff here :-) Shoshanna.
