THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Newbie problem - creating a hole in the ground - help please

i've successfully used positive and negative attributes to make holes before but am having troubles with an image i'm cuurently working on.

i've imported an object which i want to use as a cavity - but i've been unable to get it to work. the land plane persists in obscuring it no matter what i tell it or the object - even when the language becomes strong. :/

any suggestions/ advice would be more than welcome. thanks.

Hi brodiss - once you've imported your OBJ, select it, click on the E (Edit) and put a dot on the button that says something like Solid when Boolean. That'll do it!
