I still haven't dug the SDK out again to look at it but from what I remember I successfully compiled an example for C2 in MSVC6 some time ago. I think it came with the SDK. I don't know how any other compiler works but I used to program with BC4.5 when I was looking at DX7 and got that to work with that but looking back on it I don't think it was worth the extra time and effort as all the info I had there was for MSVC. In both cases I think Microsoft will do you best if you can get hold of it which is too bad in my case because I used to love working with Borland. - TJ

Ok. I think the obvious first step to working with the SDK is the software. What does and doesn't work? I know that Codewarrior is recommended, as well as Visual? But what versions work, and what versions don't? And is there a way of using an older version and still coding plugins? Brian
