hello everybody,I would like too buy poser (I got bryce a week ago),is poser difficult too use?the price is high,is it worst too got it???? thxxx for reply mee.I really need someone advice.can you import poser caracteres in bryce????

You can import Poser characters in Bryce. Takes a little preparation but you can :o) You can buy Poser either from Curious Labs themselves or Amazon, sometimes Amazon is cheaper, but it also depends on where in the world you'er located.

If cost and ease of use are a concern, you might want to consider Poser Artist, which is just Poser 4 repackaged. Poser 5 has a steeper learning curve, or so they tell me.

Which version you buy depends upon what you want to achieve. If you are simply going to do still images with postwork for hair and draped clothing, then Poser 4 (aka Poser Artist) will be just fine. If you will want dynamic hair and flowing clothing and nifty layered effects with the materials, you will need Poser 5. (You will also need a more powerful machine and memory.) In either case, there are plenty of helpful people here who can answer questions, as well as tutorials, python scripts, and other aids. Welcome to the community! Carolly

If I were you, I'd play with Bryce for a while to get the hang of 3D manipulations and 3D space. I just got Poser 5 (my first Poser program ever) and I've struggled for nearly a month and have yet to produce anything at all. I will keep trying and post my first picture as soon as I can get it done. Like I said, be prepared to work, ask questions, study tutorials (I recommend Dr. Geep's tutorials. I just found them and I think they are wonderful.), and most of all just keep messing with it til you figure it out. Kristta
