Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
I've not had that problem before myself. I seem to remeber some threads about "crosstalk", you might search the forum for that phrase and see if it applies to your problem. Also, if you state your Poser version it will help with getting a response. There is a difference in Poser 5 and Poser 5 on how crosstalk between characters is handled. Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in here if it is not crosstalk causing your problems. Also, you may want to pre-load a charcter with the morphs you want and save it as a new figure to your library, that way when you don't need to load the morphs on top of existing characters. You've already got the morphs loaded.

It's not crosstalk, but symptoms are similar. The Injection is achieved by using readscript(0, which has a prediliction for always applying itself to teh first figure loaded in a scene - most probably because readscript was added to Poser before multiple figures were, and prior-rev fixes are rare in Poser history. There is a way around it - see link - but it has disadvantages, like if you want to use clothing. Further developmeents have been discussed over at PoserPros, Jim Burton has developed teh technique to permit clothing. No apparant downsides, beyond a large amount of file editing, that is :-OIt's not crosstalk, but symptoms are similar. Hello all, I've read through many of the injector threadds here, but am still rather stuck & unable to use most. In my current scene, I have (2) M3's, a freak with dwarf morph & V3. The injectors work fine for freak & one of the M3's, but will not work at all(dials never appear)on the other M3 or V3. The injectors that concern me most are expressions & head morphs to create "talking" scenes. I have tried individual injectors, all mouth injectors & all head injectors all with no luck. I have followed from what Ive read to : 1.)Select characters head, make sure that the dial properties of the head is closed 2.)Doble click the desired injector 3.)Wait for the hourglass to stop 4.)Select another body part 5.)Go back to head & look at dials Nothing ever seems to show up, any thoughts, suggestions beyond what I'm doing? - John
