Wow, that is a really interesting coincidence, or is it synchronicity? LOL, how 'bout it Zhann? Were you waiting for dBgrafix to post his cloud pics so you could counter with some of your own? These are some gorgeous skys! Thank you.:-)

Awesome sky pics! Still, you shoudl be able to produce realistic sky and cloud effects that are still animatable WITHIN Bryce... Volumetrics aren't too painful if you play around a bit...

MuddyGrub ( ) posted Tue, 22 June 2004 at 2:18 PM

Shadow, I have yet to see realistic cloudy sky effects with bryce. Lets see it!

shadowdragonlord ( ) posted Tue, 22 June 2004 at 11:42 PM

Aye, I don't think I can come THAT close to realistic! Zhann's images are wonderful. For animation, though, which is the foundation of 3D imagery, it's always good to flex software muscle. I've tried many, many techniques with Lightwave and came up with garbage compared to what Bryce can do more easily and cleanly... But this is Zhann's thread! I'm not a parade-rainer... Your skies are awesome, can't wait to try them out...!

Hey, threads get hijacked all the time, why would mine be any different...;]

Zhann, if you want to see your thread again, send ten dollars worth of unmarked hershey bars, and no funny business. Shadow, animation with volumentrics???? You must have a lot of patience!
