Hello there. I would like to know what kind of hardware do you use for Poser5 or Poser4. Pleae remark which version do you use. For those who are interested, my hardware: Pentium4 2.6 Ghz Radeon 9200 (128MB) 512 MB RAM and a huge harddrive

Running Poser 5 on a Sony Vaio Notebook AMD Mobilty XP 1004+ 1,4 GhZ 512MB RAM 18GB HDD 8GB Ati Rage Mobility ( i hate this card ) but everything works fine

pentium 1.1 ghz I don`t know the video card but I think it is about 8mb 128 mb ram a big harddisk and a small one but no huge ones I use poser 4 and poser 5 with hardly any problems (really)

Pentium4, 1.7GHZ, 768 mb ram Asus vcard (256mb ram) 80gb HD I have very few problems with P5. Granted, it's much more of a hog than version 4, but so far, knock wood, things are going well for me.

Poser 5 P4 2.2Ghz 1GB RAM 120GB Hard Drive 64MB Geforce 4 MX440 The graphics card has no effect with poser as far as I am aware but upgrading from 512MB to 1GB of RAM made a huge difference to my rendering times (especially when using texture filtering). I think it would also help to have a second hard disk for paging memory from - my next upgrade :)

Extra ram is probably the best thing to get when using any 3d program not just poser.

How much is enough RAM to render big scenes quite well??

I would say buy as much ram as you can afford to render big scenes quite well, also buy the faster ram that is available if you can afford it and if it can work with your pc.

For example, with my computer I have 128megabytes of ram. I estimate that 1 gigabyte of ram at least would be needed for my computer for rendering with poser and other 3d apps.
